EXPLANATORY NOTE! We stress that, unless expressly indicated here, this kind of posts are not sponsored by companies.
It has been a long time since we wrote in ‘Product highlights’ blog section. On previous occasions we talked about Pooch & Mutt’s ‘Calm & Relaxed Treats’, post that you can read again by clicking in here. You can also read about the beer for dogs ‘Snuffle” and watch Colette in a video drinking a beer by clicking here. This time I took advantage of a trip to Milan, in Italy, to visit the beautiful ‘Prince and Princess’ boutique and to buy one of its products for Colette, about which I’m going to write for you in today’s post.
In particular, I bought a snack from the dog patisserie ‘BauBau Cherie Patisserie’, and among all the varieties, for example: apple and biscuit, milk cream and banana, I chose the “most Italian” one: the reggiano parmesan cheese snack, and as you can see in the images and in the video through this post, Colette loved it.
Every time we write on the blog about something, we want to be well informed, and that’s why we got in touch with Maria Grazie, the ‘BauBau Cherie Patisserie’s owner, who kindly answered to our questions and told us her story.
‘BauBau Cherie Patisserie’ was born from the skill of Maria Grazia as a cook along with her love for animals. Owner of “Ute”, a leonberger dog breed, one day she met an abandoned mixed-breed dog, who became part of her home under the name of Gluck, lovingly called Titti.
Titti looked sad and Maria Grazia had the idea of ‘sweetening’ Titti’s life not only with cuddles, but also with some delicacies she cooked for her. And she went from cooking for her two dogs, to cook also for her friends’ dogs… and as word of mouth worked very well, she decided to make a job from her passion and create ‘BauBau Cherie Patisserie’
So ‘BauBau Cherie Patisserie’ products are made with natural ingredients (oatmeal, kamut wheat, salmon, liver, etc.), without additives, without preservatives, without salt or sugar, and with 6 months of expiration date since they’re produced. The reggiano parmesan cheese snack is made with ‘zero kilometer’ products, you know, quality and ecological products, made in a traditional way and local produce, because her bakery is in an area with one of the best factories of white cheese of cows, which produce a very sweet milk, and which is Protected Origin Denomination (PDO). So as you can see, they use the best products for our dogs. Not to mention its packaging, very detailed and really cute.
If there is something that has surprised us of ‘BauBau Cherie Patisserie’ is that they have a group of collaborating human friends who are in charge of tasting the products before releasing them into the dog market, so there is no animal cruelty 🙂 ‘BauBau Cherie Patisserie’s products are tested on humans!
If you wish to know what more products make ‘BauBau Cherie Patisserie’ in addition to these snacks, such as cupckakes, birthday cakes, etc., and have the scoop of its future new products such as the one they are making for next summer, we invite you to enter their website https://www.baubaucheriepatisserie.com/, where you can even order in its online store.
And you, what other original products do you usually give to your dogs?
We’d love you to tell us in the comments box of this post. Thank you very much!
